Hi! I’m Christina Petrosian, the artist behind Melograno Designs. I work in mixed media because, honestly, I can’t choose just one thing—I love texture, color, layering, and the magic that happens when unexpected materials come together. Think paper, fabric, paint, glass, wood and found objects… basically, if it sparks something, it’s fair game.

Art has been part of my life for as long as I can remember, but in recent years I’ve leaned all the way in, creating pieces that are emotional, expressive, and uniquely one-of-a-kind. My work is inspired by stories, memories, nature, and the beautifully imperfect moments that make life interesting.

“Melograno” means pomegranate in Italian, which felt just right—layered, colorful, a little unexpected, and full of tiny surprises (kind of like my art… and let’s be honest, also kind of like me). My creative process is part scavenger hunt and part “let’s see what happens if I just do this…”

I mix paint, paper, fabric, found objects, wood, and whatever else calls out to me from my vast curated collection of too numerous to count bits and pieces of every material imaginable--baubles, beads, broken glass, mono prints, and vintage ephemera.
